Example: repeat a worksheet
Your PDF has an instruction page, a worksheet, and an answer page. Select page 2 and choose three total copies. The result contains pages 1,2,2,2,3: one instruction page, three worksheets, and one answer page.
Decide which pages need copies
Repeating a page inside a PDF is useful when you want several copies of the same blank form or worksheet in one document. It is different from printing multiple copies: the duplicates become actual pages in the downloaded file.
Check that the selected page is the correct version. Repeating a completed form also repeats any personal information visible on it.
Duplicate pages step by step
- Open Duplicate PDF Pages and choose one PDF.
- Select the previews of the pages to repeat, or type their positions in Selected pages. For example, 2,4 selects the second and fourth pages.
- Choose Total copies per selected page. Two copies means the original plus one duplicate.
- Select Duplicate pages. When the result is ready, choose Download.
- Open the downloaded PDF. Check both the repeated pages and the pages before and after them.
Understand where the copies appear
Each selected page is repeated at its original position. Choosing pages 1 and 2 with two copies produces 1,1,2,2, followed by the remaining pages. It does not produce 1,2,1,2.
To repeat a complete multi-page block, extract the block as a PDF and merge multiple copies of it. For page-by-page repetition, this tool is the more direct choice.
- You can choose between 2 and 10 total copies per selected page.
- Unselected pages are kept once in their original order.
- The maximum finished document is 1,000 pages.
- Expected total: original pages plus selected pages multiplied by the additional copies.
If the result is unexpected
- Too many pages: remember the selected number is the total copies for each page, including the original.
- The wrong page repeats: compare the preview position with any printed page label.
- The output limit is exceeded: reduce the selection or copy count, or work with a smaller source PDF.
- The page range is invalid: use numbers and ascending ranges, such as 1,3-5, within the document’s page count.
Review important documents
The operation copies visible pages into a new PDF. It does not fill forms or create new values for repeated form fields. Interactive features, bookmarks, and digital signatures may not carry over unchanged.
Processing happens in your browser, and large documents can use substantial memory. Retain the original until you have checked the downloaded file.
