Read our privacy informationChange PDF paper size while keeping proportions
Choose a paper size and let the tool center each visible page on the new sheet. Keep each page’s orientation or choose portrait or landscape for the whole document.
Text and vector artwork are embedded without turning the pages into screenshots. Existing images keep their source resolution. Smaller pages stay at their original content size unless you enable Enlarge smaller pages to fit. Forms, annotations, links, bookmarks, and signatures may not carry over.
Common questions
Will resizing stretch or crop my document?
The tool scales both directions equally and fits the existing visible page area inside the chosen margins. It does not stretch the page or intentionally cut off that visible area.
Does A4 resizing reduce the file size?
Changing paper size does not target a smaller file size or recompress images. Use Compress PDF if your goal is fewer bytes.
Can I keep a mix of portrait and landscape pages?
Yes. Choose Match each original page. Every page uses the selected paper format in its own orientation.
