Use the previews to select the page you want, then export it as a PNG image. The rendered image is useful when you need a page in an image-based document, slide, or design.
The tool exports one page at a time at twice the PDF viewer’s base rendering scale. PNG uses lossless image encoding, but the result is still a raster image with fixed pixel dimensions. It does not retain editable text or vector elements.
Common questions
Can I convert a scanned PDF page?
Yes. Rendering the page does not require selectable text. Its clarity still depends on the original scan.
Is PNG better than JPG for every PDF?
PNG avoids JPEG compression artifacts and can suit text or diagrams. JPG may be smaller for photo-heavy pages. Choose the format appropriate to your use.
